Fortin's Supply, and Home Hardware is a family owned business that has been part of the community since 1946. Fortin's currently has stores in Chilliwack, Vedder, Abbotsford and Hope.
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to fill a Part Time/Full Time position on our team.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Experience as small engine mechanic or similar mechanical experience
• Trade certification or equivalent education in small engines
• Experience with 2 cycle, 4 cycle engines
• Experience with hydraulic hoses, fittings and adapters
• Class 5 driver’s license, reliable transportation
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
• Physically able to lift >50lbs
• Available to work Saturdays

Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of outdoor power equipment such as lawn mowers, chainsaws, pumps and generators
• Build hydraulic hose assembly
• Order appropriate parts and supplies to expedite repair process
• Complete and create work order 
• Accurately read part diagrams
• Professional communication with clients
• Assist in housekeeping duties in the office, yard and shop as required
• Assist with shipping and receiving materials as required
• Using forklift to offload and load shipments as required (Training Provided)
